Personalized In-Home Dinners prepared by one of two talented local chefs—Chef Adriana Covas and Chef Micael Braz—served in the most stunning and authentic setting: Quinta de Santa Clara in the Douro Valley.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking an intimate culinary experience, this is your opportunity to enjoy the flavors of the Douro Valley, brought directly to your table.

🍷 A Taste of Douro in Every Bite

Our Douro-Inspired Private Dinners are a tribute to the region's rich culinary traditions. Each meal includes:

  • Amuse-bouche

  • Starter

  • Two Main Plates (Fish, Meat, and/or Vegetarian options)

  • Dessert

Starting at approximately €75 per person. Optional wine pairings are available upon request, thoughtfully selected to complement each dish.

The setting is just as special as the cuisine. Your private dinner will take place in the heart of our historic 1945 Quinta, either:

  • Indoors, in our elegant dining room surrounded by original Portuguese azulejos (tiles) and vintage charm,
    or

  • Outdoors, weather permitting, on our stone patio with sweeping views of the Douro River and the iconic vineyard terraces that have made this valley world-famous.

It’s a setting that invites relaxation, connection, and celebration—perfectly paired with exquisite food and wine.

Chef Adriana Covas

Born in Ervedosa do Douro, Adriana is a proud Duriense with deep roots in the valley’s traditions. With a degree in Gastronomy, a Bachelor’s in Oenology, and postgraduate studies in Enogastronomy, she masterfully blends the worlds of food and wine.

Through her project, "I Cook with Wine", Adriana offers bespoke experiences like private dinners, show cooking, and culinary workshops. Her menus are imaginative, inspired, and deeply connected to the region—such as her “How Vintage Can You Go?” menu for Pipadouro – Vintage Wine Travel.

Chef Micael Braz

At just 26, Chef Micael brings 8 years of experience and a lifelong passion for traditional Portuguese cuisine. A graduate of the Douro Hospitality School in Lamego, he creates meals that honor authentic flavors while elevating presentation with artistic detail.

For Micael, food is about welcoming guests and sharing culture. His dishes speak of home, heritage, and heart.
